Samsung is releasing its highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Edge. The company released the phone during its Unpacked event in January 2025. The phone was supposed to release in April but that was altered. Today, a new leaked teaser reinforces the phone is to officially go on sale on May 13, 2025. Tipster Evan Blass posted the teaser image on X (Twitter). The teaser is of the side of the phone and says “Beyond Slim.” The teaser also quickly flashes the date “13 maggio 2025,” which is May 13, 2025. That is according to reports that emerged earlier. Rumors are present that indicate a global launch on May 30, though. There were earlier speculations that the phone will be exclusive for China and South Korea. But now that it has passed through BIS certification, that also means it will be arriving in India.
Sleek Design and Premium Build
The most notable feature of Galaxy S25 Edge is the extremely thin body. The phone measures 5.85mm in thickness, one of the thinnest in the Samsung flagship line. Even though it is as thin as that, Samsung only employs the best materials. The titanium frame provides it with its durability, while the screen gets Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection. In the meantime, the rear panel features Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which provides higher drop resistance. The Galaxy S25 Edge is also extremely light, weighing only 163 grams. It will be available in three stylish colors:

Among the trade-offs for slenderness of design is the battery’s capacity. The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with a 3,900mAh battery, 1,000mAh less than that of the S25+. It still has the 25W fast charging feature but peak users may find its battery life draining shorter than they are used to. Regardless, the slenderness compensates this deficit by half.
Expected Price and Availability
Leaks suggest that the starting price of the South Korean variant is going to be between 1,500,000 won, which is around ₹89,200 in India. Prices in Indian markets are yet to be confirmed, but the BIS listing suggests an imminent launch. Coming only weeks from today, fans of Samsung have the luxury to enjoy a slender, stylish, and fast flagship.
